Introduction
Marinade Finance is a non-custodial liquid staking protocol. Launched in March 2021, it was the first liquid staking solution built on Solana.
Use Cases
Users can stake SOL tokens with Marinade using automated staking strategies. Marinade's core value proposition is liquid unstaking, i.e., users can withdraw their staked SOL tokens at any time by paying a fee. A majority of this fee is given to liquidity providers on Marinade.
Tokenomics
Marinade earns revenue from liquid unstaking (transaction fees) and staking reward's commission. MNDE token holders can lock MNDEs to participate in the Marinade DAO. Marinade has not had any VC funding rounds or token sales.
